The Poker Face hitmaker was the big winner at the event, walking away with prizes for all the international categories she was nominated for. Her record The Fame was named Best International Album and she also collected awards for Best International Female Solo artist and Best International Breakthrough.  Jay-Z collected the prize for Best International Male Solo Artist.

The MasterCard British album award went to Florence And The Machine for Lungs and Ellie Goulding took the Critics' Choice award.
